Funny how a €14,- motor from China comes in a nice box, with fasteners, shrink-wrap, multiple prop-adapters, spare axel, bullet-connectors and rubberbands for a flexible prop adaptor…
Well, The bullet is through the church (as we say in dutch…). After long searching on the Hobbyking website, during which Hobbyking changed their category layout (nice work guys! Now I realy can’t find anything anymore and it was shit to begin with!!!), we have made our choices for the Inside F5J Hobbyking motor and servo’s setup. Basically, we have chosen a setup of about €100,- (ex transport), which I think is quite good, compared to the advised setup with the Hacker motor/esc and the graupner servos. The latter would set you back approximately €350,-. This effectively means that we can afford to f#ck up our setup about 3 times… Sounds good to me!
I find it difficult to make decisions on the hardware to use for the Inside F5J.
The suggested motor and speedcontroler (Hacker A20-22L EVO & Hacker X-40 SB PRO Regler) are together a hefty €140,- (approx, pending supplier).
Also, the suggested speedcontroler is a 40 Amp one,… this seems a bit big as the max suggested current is approximately 20 Amps.
